UPDATE: THIS RACE IS SOLD OUT

With a November lockdown in place and restrictions likely to be taking effect in some form or other throughout the latter stages of this year, it’s important everyone keeps exercising.

In order to help you do just that, Step Forward With Lewis will be holding two virtual races with a special Christmas twist.

We’ll have details of our second race later this week, but today we can reveal that we’ll be offering festive bling to anyone who takes on our Christmas challenge.

And if that’s not enough incentive, a portion of every entry will go to Project 16:15, a charity set up in Northampton to help rough sleepers in the town.

What’s the challenge?

In order to earn your medal, we’re asking you to complete a monthly marathon of miles.

Depending on how brave/foolhardy you feel this can be done in one of three ways:

  • The One Go Gang: 26.2 miles of marathon joy for those who like their challenges to come with tired feet and a warm glow!
  • It takes two baby!: Split your marathon into two halves and complete the challenge in two 13.1 miles sets of pain and glory
  • As Many As You Want…: It doesn’t matter how you get there, just rack those miles up over the month. You can do anything from 25.2 miles one day to a mile on another, or 26 separate runs of one mile and one 0.2 tester at the end! As long as you make 26.2 miles within the month, you’re a winner!

The month in question will take place between Friday, November 20 and Sunday, December 20 – so we can get your Rudolph medals to you in time to decorate your tree and to greet the real life reindeers on Christmas Eve.

How do I enter?

UPDATE: THIS RACE IS SOLD OUT
