Earlier this week we promised you we’d be putting on two new virtual races to keep you motivated as we – hopefully – head towards the end of this dreadful pandemic.

The first was our ‘Mad March’ virtual race, some of the proceeds of which will be going to Breast Friends Northamptonshire. There’s still plenty of time to get involved in that event.

Our second virtual race will be taking place between April 1 and 7 – just in time for Easter and all that lovely chocolate!

The aim is to complete 5kms during that week… better hop to it!

We’ll be donating £5 from every entry to the RSPCA in Northamptonshire.

What’s the challenge?

In order to get hold of your special Easter medal, you will need to complete 5km between April 1-7.

As with all of our challenges there is no set way to do it… we don’t care if you run, walk, wheel or (bunny) hop your way to your target.

And you don’t have to do it all in one go. Feel free to do five one kilometre ‘runs’ or to complete the challenge in one sweaty go!

Equally, we don’t need you to send us proof that you’ve finished the challenge (you’re only cheating yourself, and besides, we trust you!). That said, we’d love to see pictures, Strava maps, etc of your runs so we can celebrate your success on this website.

How do I enter?

Entry costs £12 (plus £2 postage/packaging) and you’ll get one of our medals in return.

£5 of your entry fee will go to the RSPCA in Northamptonshire.

There are two ways to enter:

  • Fill out the below form including your payment details

  • Or email us with your contact details – name, phone number and address – at stepforwardwithlewis@gmail.com and we’ll reply with details of how to pay via BACS.

There are a limited number of places so make sure you get in there quickly!

To learn how we handle your personal data please consult our Privacy Policy.

What is RSPCA Northamptonshire?

Easter bunny

Hopefully this little guy won’t need any help… but if he did the RSPCA would be there to provide it!

The RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch is passionate about animals, whether big or small, young or old.

As a small and independent branch of the RSPCA that only covers Northamptonshire, it is responsible for raising all of its own funds, so it is really depends on charity donations.

Any money enables them to fund vital work to save animals that have been neglected, mistreated or subjected to cruelty.

You can find out more about the work this fantastic charity does on its website.
