Thirty days has September, April, June and November.

All the rest have 31… let’s not even get started with February! The point is that, along with a fair few other months, July has 31 days.

So we’ve decided to make that part of our latest virtual challenge… read on to find out how!

More importantly, we’ll be putting some of the proceeds from the event towards Rainbows, which is a hospice for children and young people.

What’s the challenge?

July’s challenge is to run, walk or travel in your wheelchair a total of 31 miles or 31kms throughout the month.

You can do this in one gruelling chunk or break it down in to as many different ones as you see fit.

It’s really entirely up to you – pick your challenge, smash it out the park and pick up our funky medal!

We don’t insist on seeing proof – we’re trusting souls and you’d only be cheating yourselves! – but if can let us know when you’ve finished, or perhaps send us some pictures to share on our social media channels, that’s be great. Our email is stepforwardwithlewis@gmail.com

How do I enter?

Entry costs £12 (plus £2 postage/packaging) and you’ll get one of our medals in return.

£5 of your entry fee will go to Rainbows.

There are two ways to enter:

What is Rainbows Hospice?

Sadly, some children simply don’t live long enough. Since 1994 Rainbows has opened its doors and hearts to those children and the people who love them most.

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, the charity provides vital care and support to families impacted by life-limiting conditions.

Your support will mean they can provide end of life care, symptom management, short breaks and respite care. Rainbows can also be there to support parents and siblings through their bereavements.
