Step Forward With Lewis was born as a running club. Our early years were spent as a voluntary-run, free club putting on Fartlek and hill sessions, as well as Chatty Runs.
Despite our development as a fully fledged business offering everything from Boxercise to balance classes, the running element remains hugely important to us.
We are dedicated to being fully inclusive, including for all disabled athletes and have previously held sessions attended by wheelchair athletes, blind runners and deaf runners. Michelle Lewis is trained as an England Athletics Guide Runner.
Community is central to everything we do, and we regularly race as a club or parkrun takeovers – with breakfast as vital a component as split times and personal bests.
MEMBERSHIPS
Annual membership of the Step Forward With Lewis Running club runs from May to May each year, with renewals due on May 1 at the latest. You can sign-up at any time throughout the year.
