OUR RUNNING SESSIONS
Get fitter, get faster and have lots of fun!
We currently a variety of sessions across each week, with all levels and abilities welcomed. Our diary is regularly updated to let you know what sessions we will be holding each week.
We specialise in hill and Fartlek sessions:
Hill: Our hill sessions will get you working to the very best of your ability. They consist of repeating a number of short runs up some of Northamptonshire’s most challenging hills. Basically each runner starts at the bottom of the hill, runs up it (or as far as they can get in a minute) as fast as they can and then returns to the bottom at a more sedate pace. Repeat as many as times as your sadistic instructor says!
Fartlek: This is a Swedish term that means “speed play.” It is a form of interval or speed training that can be effective in improving your running speed and endurance. Fartlek running involves varying your pace throughout your run, alternating between fast segments and slow jogs.
All our sessions have an emphasis on fun in a relaxed environment, as well as getting fitter and faster whatever your goals are.
There is a £2 fee for each session and people can block book if they want.
