A massive well done to all those who took part in our Jubilee virtual challenge.
In all, we managed to raise £68 for the World Cancer Research Fund.
As you know, Michelle will be running the London Marathon for the charity this year, so the money raised from this challenge will go to her JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sfwlmarathon
Michelle at the cake sale at The George in Tiffield
Huge thanks also to those who took part in the cake sale at The George in Tiffield, which raised a fabulous £225 for the charity, and the Summer Quiz – held alongside Hardingstone Cricket Club at The Old Cherry Tree in Great Houghton – which raised £158.50.
Your help means Michelle’s fundraising page now sits at £1,892 for the World Cancer Research Fund, with our charity auction still set to continue until July 10.
There are some fabulous items still on offer there, including a doggie photoshoot, PT with Step Forward With Lewis, pub meals/vouchers at The George, Old Cherry Tree and The Sun in Hardingstone, and more WD 40 than the squeakiest of doors, motorbikes or cycle can handle.
