After spending recent weeks telling the country he wouldn’t be putting another lockdown in place, Boris Johnson last night dramatically changed his mind.

And so from Thursday, we will face a month of restrictions. Exercise is encouraged, but by yourself, people within your own household or with one person from another household.

Sadly, this means that our group running sessions, bootcamps and HIIT sessions will be cancelled from Thursday onwards, until such time as this new lockdown is lifted.

First up, that means there are only three days left in which to get your Step Forward With Lewis group sessions fix.

As such, Michelle will be putting on extra sessions this week to make sure everyone has a chance to exercise before the new restrictions come in. Of course, our sessions will remain Covid safe, with social distancing and hand sanitiser in place.

Monday:

6pm: Hill session – park along London Road and meet at Delapre entrance (do not park in Delapre) – 35/40 mins – £2

7pm: HIIT – ask for details – 30 mins – £5

7.30pm: Bootcamp – ask for details – 30 mins – £5

Tuesday:

6pm: Bootcamp – ask for details – 30 mins – £5

7pm: Fartlek – meet outside the Crown, Hardingstone – £2

7.45pm: Bootcamp – ask for details – 30 mins – £5

Wednesday:

9.30am: Fartlek – meet in Hardingstone Rec – 30 mins – £2

12pm: HIIT – ask for details – 40 mins – £5

6pm: Fartlek – meet outside Caroline Chisholm School – 30 mins – £2

6.30pm: Fartlek as above

7.30pm: HIIT – ask for details – 40 mins – £5

Step Forward With Lewis running session. Hill training

Step Forward With Lewis running sessions will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week before the lockdown comes into place

Over the next month, it will be important for everyone to look after their physical and mental health.

Exercise is a really important part of that, and Step Forward With Lewis aims to be with you every step of the way through the lockdown.

Michelle will be offering one-to-one running sessions. These will be catered to your lockdown aims, lasting 30 minutes and costing just £5 per session.
