Some important news today as we are making changes to our weekly schedule of sessions and activities.

We believe it’s really important to keep these fresh and new as continually updating and adapting your fitness programme will help keep you motivated and work different parts of your body.

As such we will be introducing a new bootcamp session on Sunday mornings. Pending permission from the parish council, this will take place at 10.30am in Hardingstone Rec.

The great part of using the Rec is that there is no limit on numbers, but please do let me know if you are intending to come as it helps me to plan the sessions.

This bootcamp will cost £5 per session, but you can also take advantage of our £15 for four classes offer. Email me at stepforwardwithlewis@gmail.com or send a Facebook message if you want to come, or need more information.

I will confirm the date of the first session once I have spoken to the parish council so keep an eye out on the Facebook page and in future newsletters.

I will also be introducing one-to-one running coaching sessions. These will work in a similar way to personal training, but will obviously concentrate purely on running.

If you are preparing for a event, these sessions will be the perfect way to make sure you are following the correct routine, including stretching properly and advice on what to eat.

I can also draw up running plans for people who have races booked, whether it be a 5k or a marathon. Drop me an email for more details, including prices.

As many of you know I’ve got 17 marathons under my belt and am a fully qualified running coach so there’s plenty of hints and tips I can pass your way.

These changes mean we will no longer be holding our Wednesday morning strength and cardio class at 10.30am, or the Wednesday evening running sessions at 6.30pm.

These changes will take place with immediate effect.

From this Wednesday evening at 6.30pm, we will be holding free, informal SFWL runs. These will be very relaxed, chatty runs with location details circulated each week.

I will be organising some of them, but Helen Briggs has also kindly agreed to help out and because of the informal nature of them please do feel free to just meet up for a run with whoever else is about if we are not available.

If you have any questions about any of the changes, do please get in touch.
